Three Dog Night, founded in 1968 by Danny Hutton, is an iconic American band now in its sixth decade, famed for 21 consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits, three #1 singles, and 12 Gold albums driven by its signature three-part vocal harmony. Rising from the Laurel Canyon music scene, the group dominated the 1970s with chart-topping songs like “Joy to the World,” sold over 50 million records, and helped establish the modern stadium tour while bringing songs by writers like Harry Nilsson, Randy Newman, and Elton John into the mainstream. Still performing more than 80 shows a year, the band is releasing Enter, its first new studio album in nearly 40 years, recorded with original producer Bill Cooper and featuring new material from Hutton, who continues making music in Laurel Canyon with his family.
